Polly built her first stitch and glue kit – a Little Wren canoe – aged nine, with her dad and granddad.

For the last two-and-a-half years she worked for a boat kit company where one of her roles was providing technical support to customers.

She has recently built a kit plywood paddleboard designed by CLC Boats and a cedar surfboard from a kit designed by Grain Surfboards.
