Beale Park: Sail, steam and even a submarine

PBO Production Editor, Julian Peckham, was on photographic duty at last weekend's Beale Park Boat Show, near Reading in Berkshire.

He reports that there was a good atmosphere despite some overcast weather and a few spots of rain, but the most surprising sight was this submarine appearing in the middle of the boating lake.
'I tried to find it later on but it was nowhere to be seen,' said Julian. 'It was under water I suppose.'
