Mike Corp sailed dinghies while stationed in Germany during the mid-1960s. On transfer from the Royal Artillery to the Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers he trained as a vehicle mechanic. He moved onto yachts while working in south Devon and, now retired, sails his Brixham-based Nauticat 331 along the coast and across the Channel.
