Alan England

A qualified RYA Senior Dinghy Instructor and Yachtmaster, Alan England started sailing in the RAF in 1962 while serving Queen and country in Malaysia.

In 1999 he and his partner, Rosemary, decided to become liveaboards on Tavi, a Finnsailer 36, and in thick fog, departed from Plymouth to sail across the Bay of Biscay before cruising extensively around the Mediterranean.

In 2004 they bought their Moody 376 Linga Linga in Turkey for further adventures. She now has a permanent berth in Malta.
