Shh! Hear clearly in fog

In fog, your ears are often your best navigation and safety tool. Put a crewman on the foredeck, away from other noise, to listen out. If motoring, others stop the boat and switch off the engine, just to listen for a little while for engines and noise, like waves lapping or breaking.
