Downloadable almanac to cover Thames Estuary, English Channel and adjacent coasts

Publisher Wiley Nautical has announced that it will launch a digital nautical almanac in May 2009 covering the waters of the Thames Estuary, the English Channel and adjacent coasts from Lowestoft to Padstow and Vlissingen to L’Aber-Wrac’h.

The Almanac will be available to download from 11 May; those wishing to see a demonstration and request a download link when it goes live can do so at www.wileyalmanac.com from 31 March.

Access to the Wiley Almanac will be free of charge. There is no hard copy companion volume, and all data can be printed for personal use. This has been in development for over 15 months and is under the editorial control of Neville Featherstone.

Full details will be released soon.
