Top boats at prime property
Salterns Marina, on the harbourfront next to Poole’s famous ‘millionaire’s row’ of Sandbanks, is hosting a brand new boat show this weekend.
The two-day show, on Saturday 7 & Sunday 8 May, is happening in part because of the cancellation of the Liverpool Boat show. The dozens of new and pre-owned boats – primarily but not exclusively motor boats – which had been prepared to head north are instead ready for display at the South Coast marina.
The show, located in the upmarket neighbourhood of Lilliput, offers free admission, though the limited free parking may mean a pleasant stroll past some rather select waterside residences.
World-class brands at the show will include Princess, Fairline, the PBO Green Award-winning Greenline Hybrid and the local Sunseekers.
