How to prevent a wrap downwind

If your headsail, especiallly a blade sail, has battens in, make sure you don’t ease it too much when dead downwind. This will stop the battens twisting round the forestay and jamming. Often the only wasy to get the wrap out is to pull it down, bit by bit.
