Richard Jerram joined International Paint in 1979 as a trainee representative and shortly after that became an Area Sales manager. He then became a Key Account Manager responsible for the major boatbuilders and the RNLI. His career then moved more into the superyacht market, specialising in product application and working closely with Research and Development on new products. He honed his skills on the spray application of the products working in Europe and the Middle East. He finished his 34-year career with International as UK Technical Manager. He is now a regular contributor to PBO’s Ask the Experts feature.
