America's Cup World Series, Plymouth

Fast and furious, daring and spectacular! The America's Cup World Series event is the best sailors on the fastest boats racing on the edge around Plymouth Sound.

From 10 to 18 September nine teams will battle it out on their high tech, AC45 catamarans pushing themselves and their boats to the limit. Visitors will also be treated to a packed schedule of entertainment along the waterfront.

The AC World Series will feature race courses designed to deliver close competition and high-speed fly-bys. The innovative regatta format includes a mix of speed trials, head-to-head match racing, and all-out fleet racing with nine identical AC45 wing-sailed catamarans charging the line.
