Charity needs 12 participants

Scottish sailing charity, Ocean Youth Trust Scotland, needs 12 people to sail across the Bay of Biscay to raise funds for disadvantaged young people.

The Biscay Bounce is open to all abilities and departs Scotland next July on the 72-foot Alba Explorer (pictured), timed to get to La Coruña in time for the Tall Ships race’s arrival.

Although the boat will be staffed, the crew are expected to participate in all aspects of sailing the boat, as well as raise at least £2,950 for the charity.
An information evening about The Biscay Bounce will be held in Glasgow on Tuesday December 13 at 7pm. For more information email, ring 01475 722722 or visit
