Club celebrates its 75th anniversary

The RAF Yacht Club on the River Hamble is opening its clubhouse and riverside garden to the public, on Sunday 10 June, from 10AM.

See flare demonstrations by the RNLI, safety demos by the Coastguard and Ocean Safety, enjoy the jazz band, and for kids there’s a bouncy castle and loads of entertainment.

The bar’s open all day, and there’s a hog roast too. Entry is free.

Commodore Terry Saunderson, said: ‘Come and see our club house and what we have to offer new members. We are proud to open our doors to visitors especially on the 75th Anniversary of the founding of the Club.’

To get there, go to Hamble village centre, (near Southampton) and follow the yellow AA signs.
