New finger pontoons and an improved layout has created an extra 18 berths at Royal Clarence Marina in Gosport.

The installation of nine new finger pontoons replaces some of the alongside berths at Royal Clarence. The berths are suitable for boats of up to 10m LOA.

Royal Clarence, close to the entrance to Portsmouth Harbour on the Gosport side, offers great shelter and easy access to the Solent. It has some heavy duty pontoons and deep water berths perfect for larger or deep keeled boats and now it has more smaller boat facilities too.

The 18 extra berths were put in place by Walcon Marine last week and they are already filling up. The marina now has 150 fully serviced berths.

Castle Marinas Ltd owns seven marinas in the UK including five inland waterways marinas and two coastal marinas; Birdham Pool Marina in Chichester Harbour and Royal Clarence Marina.
