Read some responses from members of Parliament
See this month’s PBO (on sale 7 June) for the latest on PBO’s campaign to stop road tax on boat fuel.
PBO practicals and motorboat editor, Jake Kavanagh has been busy pestering MPs in Westminster and the results can be seen by clicking below.
The first response came from Peter Bottomley, who promised to forward a copy of the letter to Gordon Brown, “requesting his response to your valid points,” he wrote. “In the meantime, you can count on my support.”
You too can join in the campaign. Write or email PBO requesting a bundle of stickers promoting the campaign, or write individually to your MP demanding the chancellor keeps road tax off boat fuel.
In the May 2007 issue of PBO we also published an open letter to HM Revenue and Customs setting out the campaign position.
