Returns to the water in Cardiff

Olympic silver medallist Hannah Mills will participate in the Extreme Sailing Series in Cardiff next weekend.
The Extreme Sailing Series is a worldwide tour for the Extreme 40 class consisting of eight regattas with the UK leg beginning Thursday August 30 in Cardiff, which hosts 12 race sessions.
Team Wales, who Mills will sail for, does not usually participate in the tour, but it has a wildcard entry to compete at its home event.
Each regatta mixes open-water racing with ‘stadium’ short-course racing in front of the public. The racing includes fleet racing, match racing, straight line duels and speed trials.
Team Wales will be led by Dave Evans who, at 26-years-old, will be the youngest skipper at the event.
Spectators can attend the regatta, which coincides with the annual Cardiff Harbour Festival, for free.
