Boat show goes public with more than 300 companies
After months of speculation, the Whyte and Mackay Earls Court Boat Show has issued a list of businesses signed and contracted to appear at the inaugural 2007 show 1-9 December.
Several big names are conspicuous by their absence, however the mix of attractions, entertainment and activities for boaters and non-mariners could still draw the crowds.
MD James Brookes aspires to become the ’emotional home’ of the boating community and the Guinness Tent is right there on the list. Andark Diving is also present alongside such boating newcomers as Big Spender magazine – London’s luxury shopping bible – and Camtrikke – pictured left – a type of three-wheeled scooter.
The Whyte and Mackay Boat Show / marine event / Christmas festival has come a long way. Look out for PBO’s preview in December issue, on sale 1 November.
