The Embankment Marina: The Embankment Marina has serviced pontoon berths, lock access to the tidal Thames and an established, friendly community of residential and leisure berth holders. Pontoon berths for craft up to 24m. 28 berths have residential status. Buoy moorings within the Marina are available at the metre rates quoted. Berths for larger craft are shown on our website: www.theembankmentmarina.net
The riverside heritage town of Gravesend is a few minutes walk away and has comprehensive shopping, restaurants and bars to suit all tastes. The Marina is joined to the town by attractive parklands and the historic Victorian Gravesend Promenade. Cycle Route One and the Saxon Shore Way pass through the site and can be explored to the east or west. Gravesend is the historic gateway to London’s famous river. It is situated on the south bank of the Thames approximately half way between Tower Bridge and the Thames Estuary. High speed rail from Gravesend station to London St Pancras via Stratford takes 23 minutes. Three motorways, M2, M20 and M25 are within 4 miles.
The Embankment Marina has recently, (December, 2016), invested in serviced pontoons to create a number of additional berths, suitable for craft up to 24m and smaller berths for yachts and motor craft. Availability is strictly on a “first come, first served” basis with bookings being taken now.
