2017 is important to us as it’s the 30th anniversary of the Falmouth Classics and we are delighted that Tilley Endurables will once again be our title sponsor. The dates are from 16th – 18th June 2017 and we’re very much hoping to see you there and to help surpass the success of this year’s event. The small boat parade on Sunday afternoon introduced in 2016 is to be continued and we have some new ideas that we’re planning for 2017. Watch the website for news of developments!
Furthermore, 2017 is the 150th anniversary of the RNLI in Falmouth, which is hugely significant and we’re planning to include and be involved with a celebration of this essential and unique organisation as part of the Falmouth Classics.
The Classics, supported by the Royal Cornwall Yacht Club, once again runs concurrently with the very popular International Sea Shanty Festival, 54 groups last year and there may be even more in 2017.
The organising team and I are very much looking forward to seeing you at the Falmouth Classics in 2017. Whether it is for a first visit or a return you will be most welcome. Come and enjoy great sailing on the idyllic waters of the Fal and Falmouth Bay and the shore side music and fun.
