The listings are based on price per metre, including 17.5% VAT, for an annual berth paid in advance (most charge extra for monthly payment plans).
Where marinas have more than one main location with different prices and facilities we have given more than one entry to reflect actual ranking.
We have only included marinas that offer annual berths, missing such visitor favourites as Poole Yacht Haven, UKSA in Cowes and numerous seasonal Scottish locations; look out for the visitors' price guide coming soon.

We have focused on the number of walk-ashore berths only (Marinas may advertise a greater number of spaces including mid-river trots and moorings), and have included columns for petrol as well as diesel, Wi-Fi availability and bottled gas sales.
Members of The Yacht Harbour Association's Gold Anchor Award Scheme and TransEurope Marinas scheme are also recognised.
Most marinas have excellent websites but some still have no web presence at all and do not appear to use email either. We've included post codes and telephone numbers to help you follow up interesting information or locate the marina online or on an in-car satnav. Pilotage information is not provided on this listing.
Notes on the listings
The prices for annual berths are based on a 35ft (10.7m) yacht. As LOA increases so does the price per metre in most cases. Minimum charges often apply which can penalise smaller boats.
