Two others survive


A sailor in Scotland has died after his yacht capsized off Greenock on Saturday morning.

Clyde Coastguard were told of a capsize off Greenock Ocean Terminal (pictured) at 1151.

A Royal Navy helicopter, RNLI inshore lifeboat, MOD police launch and a local dive boat were all launched to help with the rescue.

Graeme waters, watch manager at Clyde Coastguard, said: ‘One person made it to the shore with assistance and the other two were recovered and then put into the care of the waiting ambulance.

‘We have been informed that one of the three men has sadly lost his life. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this tragic time.’
