A man has been charged with manslaughter after a gas explosion in a boatyard last August, which killed 26-year-old Hungarian, Krisztian Takacs.

A man has been charged with manslaughter after a gas explosion in a boatyard last August, which killed 26-year-old Hungarian, Krisztian Takacs. Another man working alongside Mr Takacs suffered serious burns as a result of the blast at Smiths Quay boatyard, Woolston, Southampton.

Sixty-year-old Philip Roger Wyman from Weymouth, Dorset will appear at Southampton Magistrate Court on 8 March. He is also charged with health and safety offences.
