A Show of Strength to mark SOS Day

Dozens of macho RNLI lifeboat trainers will be pulling a 37-tonne Mersey
class lifeboat, on a low loader lorry, tomorrow.

The team will travel up to 100m to raise money for the
charity’s SOS Day.

This Show of Strength will take place from 1.30pm starting
at the RNLI stores in Poole, pulling across West Quay Road for 10 minutes -
hopefully ending up at the RNLI College entrance!

SOS Day is a day of community fundraising for the
RNLI, with events based around the SOS acronym taking place around the UK and
Ireland.
