PBO and Land Rover Experience offer readers a chance to practise towing

PBO has teamed up with Land Rover Experience to offer readers the chance to practise towing at the Beaulieu BoatJumble. Get twisting, turning and reversing and if you’re the best thing on six wheels, you’re in with a chance of winning a year’s subscription to PBO.

The Land Rover Experience is just one of the many activities on show at Beaulieu, Europe’s biggest boat jumble. The event takes place on 23 April in Beaulieu, Hampshire, and has over 1,000 stands selling new and used chandlery, antiques, clothing and boat fittings.

The ticket price not only covers the jumble and new boats section, Boatworld, but the old abbey ruins, Palace House and the National Motor Museum. Don’t miss the James Bond Experience, with exhibits including the Lotus submarine car from The Spy who Loved Me and the jump boat from Live and Let Die. And in Palace House, the Secret Army exhibition tells the story of the WW II secret agents who were trained at the Beaulieu estate before returning to occupied Europe to work in the Resistance.

Doors to the complex will open at 9am, when BoatWorld opens, and the jumble starts at 10am. To obtain your reader discount on the normal ticket price of £7.75, call the Beaulieu ticketline, tel: 01590 612888, quoting the code PBO 2006.
