Inaugural meeting taking place later this month

The Cruising Association is inviting sailors to the launch meeting for its new Northern France and Channel Islands section.

The meeting will be at CA House in London on Sunday October 30 and will feature talks from experts on crossing the Channel and cruising in the Channel Islands and Brittany.

It is open to members and non-members alike and will cover the French coast from Dunkerque to Portsall, including Tréguier (pictured above).

Judith Grimwade, who chairs the CA’s sections group, promises that it will ‘provide a one-stop-shop for up-to-date information on sailing in the area’ and ‘advice on everything from where to moor to which restaurants serve the best moules frites’.

Tickets, costing £32.50 for non-members and £27.50 for members, include a meal and are available by calling 0207 537 2828 or emailing reception@cruising.org.uk.
