Starts tomorrow – this year partnering the Royal British Legion

This year’s Beale Park Boat Show runs from tomorrow, Friday 10 to Sunday 12 June at Lower Basildon in Berkshire.

Two full sized replica aircrafts – a Spitfire and a Hurricane – plus two Dunkirk Little Ships and an RASC Fast Patrol Boat are to feature.

These unusual exhibits are part of the show’s tribute to service personnel, past and present, as show organisers join forces with the Royal British Legion (RBL) to celebrate their 90th anniversary in the Great Poppy Party Weekend, which coincides with the Beale Park event.

Show organiser Gillie Jackson said: ‘The Boat Show is a very popular event and we are delighted to be able to support the RBL in such a positive way.’

The Beale Park Boat Show offers something for everyone with boats of all shapes and sizes – old and new – plus free boat trips, displays on the lake, demonstrations, classic cars, art and crafts, live music, food court and family entertainment, all set against the stunning backdrop of the River Thames.
