Excellent start for triple gold medallist
Ben Ainslie started his bid for a fourth Olympic gold medal with two second place finishes on his opening day at Weymouth.
Ainslie lies second overall in the Finn class after two races behind Denmark’s Jonas Hogh-Christensen, who beat him in both races.
Fellow British reigning champions Iain Percy and Andrew Simpson came 11th and second in their two races and sit fifth overall after the first two races in the Star class.
