Preparation for Clipper Race

Cork Harbour, south-west Ireland, has added a new marina for visiting yachts in time for the arrival of the Clipper Race fleet on 7 July.

The new €250,000 Port of Cork City Marina was officially opened by Ireland’s Minister of Foreign Affrairs, Micheál Martin TD.

Visitors will get free berthing until July 12, after which yachts will be charged 10 Euro per night for the first three nights, then 30 Euro per night after that.
