Falmouth, Outer Basin (Premier): Falmouth Marina sits just outside Falmouth Harbour in the sheltered waters of the Fal Estuary. Set in a designated area of outstanding beauty the estuary offers up miles of glorious boating water that stretches as far as the cathedral city of Truro with a numerous creeks, wooded shorelines, quays and churches to explore along the way. The marina is divided in two by a cill that is marked at each end by a tide gauge. The cill dries to 1.8m above CD. Visitors should enter the Inner Basin only after being given clearance by marina staff. For visiting vessels a one to two night stay includes a total of £5 of electricity.
