Economise when antifouling

When antifouling, you can save money and mess by putting your roller tray into a bin liner and taping it closed. Then, when you have finished, you can simply turn the bag inside out to contain the mess - leaving the tray clean and ready for another day...

I tried this and it was a disaster, when I tried to use the roller all that heppened was that the bin bag moved all over the place making it imposible to get the antifoul on the roller even using tape to hold it all together

Sounds like a good idea, but that's all it does,-sounds like one. Like Jerry says, It's a mess.

I dont know what you guys did or didnt do right because it has worked for me. Twice. I'm sure this tip was published in PBO several years ago.

do you mean "put the bin liner into the tray"??

Hi Bob, no - put the try inside the bin liner and tape it up so the bag covers the tray. When you've finished it contains the mess and the tray is clean!

Another tip is to keep the antifoul warm. Put the tin (and then the tray) in a container of hot wter

The tray only costs £3 and this is once a year - better to economise on things you do every week!
