It’s Spring! Time to clear out the garage of all those boat bits you’ve been collecting for a special occasion.

The Royal National Lifeboat Institution’s (RNLI) Lymington branch is collecting marine spares and general marine related artifacts to sell in aid of the charity at the
annual Beaulieu Boatjumble in Hampshire.

Items can be left with the boatmen at the Royal Lymington Yacht Club, Bath Road, Lymington or collected by arrangement through John Niven; 01590 678839.

Beaulieu Boatjumble, held this year on Sunday 27 April, offers sailors around 1,000 stands of boating bits, new trailerable boats, dinghies, equipment and craft from classics to nearly new.

It is set in the beautiful grounds of Beaulieu in the New Forest, and admission includes entry to the National Motor Museum, Palace House, Beaulieu Abbey and World of Top Gear.

What’s new?

New attractions for 2014 include a Walkabout Auction and Display Arena.

The Display Area will be dedicated to demonstrations and interactive activities for both children and adults, including a surf simulator and climbing wall. The National Museum of the Royal Navy will have giant game of Battleships as well as original objects on display.

Are you up for a challenge? Then visit the Calshot Activities Centre stand for rock climbing and kayaking fun.

After the success of a Walkabout Auction at Beaulieu’s Spring Autojumble, it is being introduced to the Boatjumble.

Any exhibitor can, for £2, enter any of their unsold items into the auction which will be held in the afternoon. All you need to do is register at the Information Caravan on the day. The auction will be limited to 50 lots/boxes.
