Kick off 2012 with a marine mad day of new and second hand boating and fishing items from shackles, lines and even boats at bargain prices.

As well as discovering nautical treasures, visit established retailers from all over theUKat trade and private stands selling new and second hand items and sharing their knowledge.

All proceeds from the day are donated to the Jubilee Sailing Trust, a registered charity that owns and operates Lord Nelson and Tenacious, the only two tall ships in the world designed and built to provide everyone with the thrill and adventure of life at sea regardless of physical ability or previous sailing experience.

?This day provides something different, and brings the thrill of sea adventure and marine interest to the heart of the Sussex countryside? says Alan Hide, Event Organiser at Sussex Boat Jumbles. ?The day can be enjoyed by the whole family, for those of all ages and levels of interest. If you have never been interested in sailing before, this day is a great way to find out more about a fantastic hobby.?
The event will be held in theAbergavenny Building and on-site refreshments are available for all visitors. Doors will open to the public at 10.00am and ticket prices are £3.50 for adults and children go free. Parking is free and disabled parking is in close proximity to the event.
